Ada Pearl “Madea” Hatcher 1931-2018














Ada Pearl “Madea” Hatcher was born October 31, 1931 to Carrie Lee Williams and Arthur Tolliver of Alabama. She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Hatcher; sons, Melvin, Connell and Cedric Tolliver; two sisters; two brothers.

She worked at St. Judes Hospital in Montgomery Alabama. After retiring and later moving to Oklahoma City, where she became founder of Maria’s Home Child Care Center until she became ill. Ada was a faithful member of The Christ Apostolic Church. Her family was her greatest source of joy and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

On Friday May 4, 2018, God chose to relieve Ada of all her earthly trials for heavenly treasures. She leaves to mourn; three daughters, Maria Hatcher, Mattie Garrett, and Flora Hatcher all of Oklahoma City, Ok; Grandchildren; Ronnie Hatcher, Casey Richardson, Sharon Conway (Dewayne), Aaron Hatcher Sr. (Sherrice), A’Shonda Garrett, Dimitress Garrett Sr., Nicholas Hatcher, and William Omega Garrett; Great Grandchildren; Trevion Conway, Ronneric Savage Sr., Rayven Conway, Maria Wright,  Harmoni Garrett, Dimitress Jr. Garrett, Deonte Garrett, Iya Garrett, BraeLynn Williams, Ayrianna Hatcher, Aaron Hatcher Jr., Reco Salas, Semaj Latimore, Bella Latimore. Great Great Grandson Ronneric Savage Jr.

Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, May 9th 2018 at The Christ Apostolic Church located at 2200 Culbertson Drive in Oklahoma City, Ok with burial to follow at the Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Spencer, Ok.
