October 20, 1941 – October 31, 2016 Oklahoma City.

Bardia Partovi was born in Tehran, Iran. He came to the United States to learn to fly jets at VAFB in Enid, Ok. Because of his love for the U.S. , he decided to make Oklahoma his permanent residence. He was then granted U.S. Citizenship in the 1980’s. Bardia attended college at Phillips University and was employed at Failings and then at VAFB, from which he finally retired after 38 years. He was unable to sit still after retirement so he started working at Jumbo Foods to keep busy. Bardia worked until he started his battle with cancer. At that time, he and wife, Yvonne resided in Oklahoma City with his mother in-law, Helen Johnson who was a comfort and a tower of strength for him. Bardia never met a stranger, was well known, and loved by all. He lived a very full life and helped raise 9 kids. Bardia is preceded in death by his parents, Hassan and Akhtar Partovi and Grandson Keegan McCall. He is survived by wife Yvonne Partovi, stepsons Jeremy Crocker, Richard James McCall (Tara) and grandson Aidyn McCall, Tracy Bass (Connie) and Brian Bass. Brother Dariavash Partovi (Julia) and sister Mersedeh Sonia Partovi, nieces: Sabrina Gharib Beck (Nathan) and Thyra Partovi Flores (Mark), and nephews: Cyrus Gharib and Thor Partovi (Jessica).
