Belva Jeanette Long Rich 1940-2017

Belva Jeanette Long was born in Tulare, California. As a schoolgirl, Belva met the love of her life, Dale Rich, with whom she spent over 65 years of her life. They raised four children: Deborah Conrady (Rickie), Dale Rich, Jr. (Jennifer), Darrell Jay Rich, and Barbara Dearman (Jimmie). Belva worked for AT&T and eventually Lucent Technologies, but her passion was family. Belva taught us to value family and to love with grace.

She loved sewing, cross-stitch, genealogy, and was a member of Oklahoma Prairies Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Belva was welcomed to her eternal home by her mother Annabelle Pettit Long, her siblings, Jimmy and Ronnie Long and Dorothy Long Fowlkes Little, and her son Darrell Jay. She leaves behind her husband; children; grandchildren: Julie Diane Conrady (Josh Flores), Christopher Dale Conrady (Kathryn Hamby Conrady), Kara Liane Conrady (Joseph Pierce), Jay Ryan Rich, Amanda Rose Rich; step-grandchildren: Ariel Lynn, Cheyenne Lynn; great-grandchildren: Stark Thoreau Tomas Flores, Cooper Dale Conrady, and Ember Lynn; and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on October 28th at 11am at New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Covenant Mission Fund.
