Donna James

Donna Lynn James, 59, of Yukon, Oklahoma, was born on January 3rd, 1957, in Hobbs, New Mexico to Francis Marion James and Wanda Jo Reed. Donna was the middle of three children. Her siblings were her older sister Deana Jo James, and her baby brother Francis Marion James Jr., better known as “Bubba”.

Early in life, Donna developed a love for plants, flowers, gardening, and growing. Give her some dirt, and she could grow anything. She later went on to earn numerous certifications in horticulture, and worked for the family business, Florida Wholesale Plant Leasing.

If there was anything Donna loved more than horticulture, it was her family, babies, and her dogs. She enjoyed spending time outside, and loved to cook holiday dinners. She always made sure to make everyone’s favorite dishes.

To say the least, Donna was a very unique person. Her sense of humor, witty responses, and compassion for loved ones, is none other. She loved to laugh, and to make others laugh with her.

Donna was laid to rest on March 29th, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
