Kathleen H. Longaker 1941 – 2018

Kathleen H. Longaker, age 76, of OKC, died February 9, 2018. She was born August 7, 1941 in Oklahoma City to Lester and Eloise Hill. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from UCO. She taught in California and Germany before moving back to Oklahoma City, where she was recognized as Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and taught until she retired. Kathi was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother and spent her life selflessly taking care of and loving her family. Her favorite title, Manga, was given to her 16 years ago by her grandchildren. Kathi is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her 2 brothers, Keith Hill and wife Sharon of The Colony, TX and Karl Hill and wife Susie of Tucson, AZ; 2 children, Michael S. Longaker and wife Kelly of Leander, TX, and Blythe L. Clark and husband Kevin of Edmond, OK; 5 grandchildren, Kendall Longaker, Jonah Clark, Julia Clark, Jenna Longaker, and Sarah Clark. “Manga” was loved by countless others and has left behind a legacy of love and laughter. She will always be remembered as our favorite. Services will be 4:00pm, Tues., February 13, 2018 at Crossings Community Church.
