Lindsey, 27, passed away
peacefully on June 23, 2017,
surrounded by loved ones.
Lindsey was born in Midwest
City to Annette and
Guy (Krystal) DeShazo and
is survived by both. She is
predeceased by her maternal
grandfather, Allen Burney,
and paternal grandparents,
Loyd and Shirley DeShazo.
She is survived by her children
– Kalia, Rael, and Kalani,
her soulmate – Kedrin
Wright, brothers – Allen
(Michelle) DeShazo and
Mark (Stephanie) DeShazo,
and step-brother – Jacob
Van Hyning, grandmother
– Betty Burney, and numerous
nieces, nephews, family
members, and friends. Lindsey
was a beautiful, smart,
and enthusiastic woman who
touched so many lives in her
short time here. She was an
adjunct professor at Rose
State College, a graduate
from UCO, and was pursuing
her Master’s in Mathematics
– for which she had a deep
passion. She had a profound
love for her children, family,
and friends. Her memorial
service will be held on
Saturday, July 1 at 11:00 am
at Highland Park Missionary
Baptist Church in Midwest
City.
