Lynda Kaye Branch, age 52, of Oklahoma City, died Monday, April 23, 2018 after a courageous 13 month battle with gastric cancer.  Lynda was born December 29, 1965 in Amarillo, Texas to Larry & Janie Baxter.  She graduated from Putnam City West High School in 1983.

On August 17, 1991 she married the love of her life, Robert Juarez Branch and became obsessed avid Oklahoma City Blazer Hockey fans.

Lynda was always a very dedicated employee working for UPS as a data entry clerk for 10 years and for the past 22 years at O’Reilly Automotive where she held the position of Receiving Supervisor.

The highlight of her and Robert’s life was the birth of their daughter, Kimberly Anne, in 2004.  Lynda’s love for her family was evident to all she came in contact with and both Robert and Kimberly will forever have many cherished memories of her love and dedication to them.

Lynda was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Allen Baxter, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and several other dear relatives.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert and her daughter, Kimberly, both of the home; her mother, Janie Grisham, and husband, Jim of Decatur, Texas; her father, Larry Baxter, of Amarillo, Texas; James & Claudine Branch, her father- & mother-in-law, of Oklahoma City; and a great host of family, friends, and co-workers whom she loved dearly.

Special thanks given to the many doctors and nurses involved in her care at Integris Hospitals and Integris Cancer Center, notably Dr. Vivek Kohli at the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute at Integris Baptist Hospital whose valiant efforts provided us precious additional time with Lynda; the caring staff at Select Specialty Hospital for her care the last six weeks; the O’Reilly family; the Target family; Council Road Baptist Church staff and members; ALL friends and family that have been behind us for our battle; Vicky Altman, Lynda’s ‘phone buddy’; and last, but not least, our best friends, Rodney & Chrissy Mullin for always being there.  Our rock, our cornerstone, our innermost circle – without you two, we never would have made it through the last thirteen months.

Pallbearers-Brandon Dolan, Kevin Hillsbery, David Augustus, Graham Mullin, William Miller, Tyler Barton
