Robyn Jayne Bowers 1958 – 2018

Robyn Jayne Bowers, 59, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; passed away on Friday June 08, 2018.

Robyn was born on October 4, 1958 in Paso Robles, California, her parents are Pearl and Robert Conner. Her father Robert Conner preceded her in death. Robyn was the oldest of 5 children; Bobby, Becky, Jesse and Russell Conner. Robyn Bowers is survived by her mother, and four other siblings. As well as her husband of 36 years Patrick Lee Bowers Sr, and their children.

Robyn and Patrick Bowers Sr. met around 1979 or 1980 and were married on January 4, 1982.

Together Robyn and Patrick Bowers Sr, had 4 children. Jason Bowers 35, Patrick Bowers Jr. 33, Jayme (Bowers) Taylor 31, and Marie Bowers 28.

Robyn had 6 grandchildren, (From Marie Bowers and Phillip Denton) Phyllis Marie Denton.                                         (Romerro and Jayme (Bowers) Taylor) Angel, DaShaun, and Romerro Taylor Jr. As well as (From Jason and Sabrina (Harrison)Bowers) Austin. and Colton Harrison. Throughout time Robyn took on many titles or rolls. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend to many. She was a wife, a mother, and a Nana (grandmother).

Robyn was always supportive of everything we chose to do, even if she didn’t approve of it. She was always there to lend an ear and listen when we needed it the most. She taught her children right from wrong, to learn from their mistakes. She also taught them morals and respect for others and themselves. She also taught them care and compassion. She taught her daughters what it means to be a wife and mother. She taught her sons how to be young men and how to take care of themselves. But most of all she taught them how to love, love for each other even when they were mad at the world or each other.

Everyone who knew Robyn, knew she loved gardening, butterflies, and hummingbirds. She always loved the most simplest things about life. She enjoyed just spending time with her family. From sitting on the front porch making small talk enjoying a cup of coffee with her husband. To watching her grandchildren grow and learn new things as well as getting down on the floor to play with them. Robyn always fought for those she loved and cared about. She was the best friend anyone could ever have. She was the super glue that held her family together.

Although life threw many ups and downs to Robyn. She always fought back harder. She never let anything or anyone keep her from getting back up.

Robyn will never truly know how she impacted those around her. She will never truly know how much everyone loved her. She will be missed more than words can be expressed.

Words will never describe how much Robyn meant to others, or how much she was loved.

Robyn will always remain in the hearts of many. The awesome memories they shared and made together.

Here’s to you Robyn. Always loved and never forgotten. Rest easy now. And don’t worry we got this…

Memorial Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, June 25th, 2018 in the chapel of Absolute Economical Funeral Home.
