Victor “Rusty” Evans 1958-2017

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Victor “Rusty” Evans announces his tragic passing due to a car accident. On October 04, 2017, 2:20pm. At the age of 59. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Karen Evans. His Siblings: Brenda, Linda, Roger, Glenda. His children: Melanie, Mathew, Elijah, Jason, Mark, Michelle. Grandchildren: Scarlett, Dylon, Mathew,  Holden, Conner, Maddie, Brent, Kayson. He is proceeded in death by his Mother: Myrtle Evans & Father: Norman Evans. Victor attended Star Spencer High School  until he decided he was to cool for school in 10th grade. He then spent the next 20 years working as a roofer. Victor loved his CB radio, he was known as Pitchfork, Until he found out that he could reach out to more people on the computer. He loved fishing and thanked God every time he would catch a Big one. He married the love of his life Karen Bailey 25yrs ago on May 15.1992. He didn’t want a church wedding he said that they was going to get married at  Thunder Bird Lake. As soon as they said I do he turned to Karen and said let’s go check the trot lines together.  He loved his  OU football, He would say Boomer Sooner all the way. He also liked the Dallas Cowboys but not as much as the Sooners. He loved growing things, he could make a garden any where. He loved his dogs Tootsie and Lucy. He had a good heart and would do what ever he could to help, That’s what he was doing when the good Lord called him home. The memorial service for  Victor “Rusty” Evans will be held at Thunder Bird Lake Post Oak Camp Sunday October 15, 2017 At 1:00 p.m.

Directions: Take I-40 to Peebly Road, turn right proceed  to Rock Creek Road, turn right. proceed on Rock Creek Road until you reach the Camp Ground Area, Follow the road to Post Oak Camp.
